One simple thing easily overlooked is making sure ur chrony is level each session. Even a small variation from front to back can give false velocity readings. I glued a bubble level on top of mine.
Interesting posts.. any experience w Nosler brass in the 6.5 PRC? I have a new box of 100 that I was planning on using for my next batch as I have reloaded my Hornady brass 4 times (w no problems). This thread may make me reconsider my plans
I use the same components in my 6.5 PRC.. Fed 210 w 58.4 g Retumbo and 143 ELDX.. Runs around 3005 FPS. In my Ridgeline any more powder show pressure signs ( Hornady brass for now)
same for me... I bought some Meindel cork insoles and put them in my Kennetreks...they felt a lot better afterwards. Note: the insoles took a bit of trimming to fit in the Kennetrek properly
