For hunting I shoot ELD-X’s in my 300WM, my 6.5 Creedmore and my .270 WIN, . It’s the only hunting ammo I use except in my .375H&H in which I use Hornady 300gr DGS or 300gr DGX.
Unfortunately, Hornady doesn’t make .224 Valkyrie Precision Hunter Ammo. They sell the bullets but do not as yet make the ammo for that bullet. I verified this with Hornady a couple of weeks ago.
I just bought a Fierce Fury in 6.5 Creedmoor with a custom barrel, carbon fiber stock in a Kuiu pattern with scope bases a custom adjustable 1.5-2.5 lb trigger, custom muzzle break and thread protector with a 1/2 MOA guarantee for $1,950.
A lot less than a custom rifle. The Fierce Fury has a lot more similarities to a custom rifle than a production rifle. Maybe I’m an elitist but if you can afford $1,200 why not $1,799?
For another $800 you can buy a Fierce Fury at Cabelas. Guaranteed 1/2” MOA. Check Gun Broker and JD Outfitters. I just bought one in 6.5 Creedmoor with some upgrades for $1,950. Waiting for delivery. I’ll update this post after insight it in at my range
