They do not epoxy the barrels on. The one thing that does happen is the front action screw is over tightened and smashes the barrel tenon thread and causes the threads to gall together. There is aftermarket parts you just have to look.

Why would you assume it did not go well? I have had the rifle for six years, it is a half MOA rifle. The stock is fiberglass, I dont know who made it but it was the last one ALS had and would ever get.
Sorry it took so long to post this, I have been busy. The rifle is a 1/2 MOA or better if I do my part. Here is a link to a video I took yesterday shooting 585 yards.
