Who is building the 300 WSM uppers? I missed buying a SAUM upper and didnt and wish I had.

The BC's on these bullets is impressive and Sierra usually is spot on, on BC. Definitely has me thinking of a few different rounds.

I have shot a lot of stuff with a 300 SMK from an Edge, 338-378, Yogi and Lapua. It is absolutely devastating. Never had to shoot one twice or track one. That bullet starting out over 2700 FPS is absolutely lethal.

Ive pointed stuff before. Time to unpoint looks like. Have to test BC and see if its worthwhile.

Shot hundreds of whitetails on damage permits with the 215 from a 300 RUM from 50 ft to 1500 yds. Never had a "Failure" but no bullet is perfect. No pencils and when a 215 does blow up? It blows a massive hole and the shank still penetrates. I would consider it one of the best game bullets out...

Essentially 4 things affect low light image resolution. Coating quality and type. # of lenses. Size of objective. Magnification. Almost everyone commenting here has been correct AND incorrect. Most have only attributed image resolution to 1 or 2 of these factors, however it is totally related...

When you research Exit Pupil it would also be advisable to research Twilight Factor especially if you have less than perfect vision. Bigger mag CAN equal a better ability to resolve what you are seeing. Optical theory and reality can yield variable results.
