    Target turret tape program??

Turrets Making one by hand would work fine also. Actually when used on Leupold Target Turrets it is just a matter of running a ballistic table and typing in the numbers you want on the excel spread sheet. Print, cut out, and tape on the scope turret. The pictures above are for a .223, 55...

    Target turret tape program??

Excell spread sheet Andy 4rk horn Joe has an excell spread sheet he shared with several of us a few years back that may do what you want to do. Woks better for me than Kenton Ind turrets as I can change things as often as I want. Have also been able to adapt it to other scopes...

    BDC Turret knobs

4ked Horn Thanks again for your turret wrap spead sheet last year. Have them on at least 5 scopes and have adapted it to some other than Leupolds. Works great for me. Excellent in the prarie dog towns. Only problem was getting my rifles back from my buds once they figured it out. They...

    Rebarrel 22-250

huntem, Kirby recently shipped me a 6mm/250. With nasty weather only have 60 rounds or so through it so far. Even with barrel break-in cleanings, etc. looks to be a great shooter. Most all 5 shot 100 yard groups easily 3/8ths inch, some pushing 1/4 inch - and this with new brass. Heavy...

Leupold Vari-X III 6.5x20x40mm Total MOA...

Was just looking through the catalog at the 6.5x20x40 long range with the 30 mm tube. 2005 catalog lists 90 moa but their web site lists 72 moa. My guess is either would get you to 1000 especially with 20moa base. The 1 inch scopes would have less. Best to you tim

    22-250 for heavier bullets?

Kirby Allen, Than you very much for the ideas and information. Had not considered the 22-250 AI or even thought about a .223AI. Both are interesting ideas. As I am still in the planning stage will definitely keep your Lija barrel in mind. Still not sure weather to use either a Remington or...

    22-250 for heavier bullets?

Crispin, Thank you for your info. Basically we are doing some informal longer range shooting. Mostly at 600 yards right now but hope to get out to 1/2 mile (880 yards). I am a wimp about recoil so trying to come up with something in a .22 cal that will reasonably hold up. Also have always...

    22-250 for heavier bullets?

Kind of leaning toward rebarreling a 22-250 for heavier bullets. Maybe something in the way of 70 to 80 grain VLDs for longer range shooting. Before investing in this project can anyone advise any downside? For 70 to 80 grain VLDs would 1 in 8 or 1 in 9 be best. Also would 3 groove, 4...
