Dear all
I am using the 2,5-15x56 - I am really happy about it, however, I cannot compare it with the equivalent Swarowski. The 3-12 x56 HD (95%) also from Zeiss is even better at low light situations. I also have one of these and hence I can recommend it for dawn or dusk hunts.
Any view of...
Very nice - impressive! I tried the 200 grain ELD-X for the 30-06, but I did not get good result with my hand loads, However, the 178 grain ELD-X got easily much better ( likely to be my own fault with the 200 grains)
However I am working on the 200 grain ELD-X for my 300 Win Mag.
Well
A Barnes 175 grainLRX
B ELD - X 178 grain
C GMX 180 grain
D Nosler E-tip 180 grain
E GMX 165 grain
F Norma Bondstrika 180 grain
All the best ( handloaded)
Dear all
I probably go with a 300 win mag in a Mauser M18 ( stainless steel)

Hi
I am new here (from Sweden - always use 30.06 ;), but Your question was interesting so my choose is handloads of
A Barnes LRX 175 grain (tuff controlled expansion) moose
B Hornady ELD-X 178 grain ( more exact - less weight retention) red deer
C Nosler Accubond (LR) long range 190 grain...
