Tikka T3 Varmint, stainless, or Super varmint. Opinions please

The 308 I have is a Savage 10FCP-SR. It comes with 24" barrel and is threaded suppressor ready. It has Accutrigger and Accustock. I am a Savage freak but this one out shoots a 22-250,220Swift(poorboy custom) 25-06 and 257Roberts(another poorboy custom). Give it a look!

    Savage 10 FCP-SR

I traded for one back in the winter. Mine is 308 and loves 125gr ballistic tips and Accubonds. I shoot Varget and CCI LRP. It shoots MOA out to 300yds. Haven't shot it farther.I have enjoyed Savage rifles for over 20yrs & this one fits right in.

    25-06 loads 100 grn bullet

Both of my 25/06 rifles like the same load for 100gr bullets . 53.5gr IMR4831,CCI lrp, Rem. brass. Between the two of them I have shot four different 100gr bullets None of which is legal in Calif. This is not a max load but is super accurate in both of my rifles. GOOD LUCK and GOOD SHOOTING!!!

    Benefits of the 1/4 bore?

I have read all of the responses and can find no real reason to take issue. That being said , I love my 1/4 bores(257's). I have six! Not because I think they are superior to anything but because I've made all of them shoot really well. I'm 78yrs old! I'm not going to hike the mountains to chase...

is it worth building on a savage 111 lrh 338lm action

Let me start by saying I don't own any belted magnums. That being said I have built six rifles on Savage actions. All are MOA to 300yds. GOOD LUCK and GOOD SHOOTING!!!

243 Ackley loads with Sierra 85 hpbt game king

Maybe this will give you a start??? My 243AI is a nine twist. I load the 95gr Sierra Match King over 48gr of RL22. Bear in mind that RL22 can be temp sensitive!!!!! My suggestion is to start with 46gr and work up in half grain increments. My rifle is a Jim Borden with a 26" Hart barrel. This...

    Savage Rifles question

You don't need to spend the extra money. I have eight Savage rifles none of which are Wea. Warr. or Bench Rest or any of the "high dollar" models. model10 110fp 12fv fcp-sr and four "poor-boy" customs built on Stevens 200 actions. Every rifle shoots sub-MOA at 100 and200 and some shoot minute...

Need help with 243Tikka T3 Thanks

My load of choice for a 1in10 243 is 42gr of IMR4831 under a 95gr Nosler bal tip. It's getting just under 3100fps. This load shoots MOA out to 300yds. The rifle is a Savage Varmint weight "poor boy custom". GOOD LUCK and GOOD SHOOTING!!!
