Kyle, Did you have to neck turn your brass? I was thinking most of my loaded ammo would work without turning but I might be doing my math wrong. Ever shoot factory ammo in it? -Ryan

Talley lightweights have worked great on multiple rifles for me including a 300 win mag. Tighten to torque specs with blue loctite. I have seen them crack but pretty sure the installer overtightened.

I bought a Marmot featherless synthetic down jacket on eBay that worked out really well this season. Insulated well and dried pretty fast when wet.

Mine seems to kick less than my 270. 257 Roy is an ideal round for whitetails.

Those bullets shoot well in my 7STW. If I had another rifle built I would probably go with a 7 Rem Mag. Doesn't lag that far behind in velocity and easy to get brass.

Building up a new hunting/carry around rifle and I am going back and forth on barrel twist. Looking at a Bartlein #3 that will be finished at 22". I will never shoot any bullet heavier than 165-168 gr and I have no desire to use this rifle as a long range plinker. I keep getting the advice to go...
