I have a ruger american in 6.5 Grendel that is pretty **** fun to shoot, especially w/ a.suppressor. Bought it used for like $300 and with just a little load work... coyote slayer! 😜. Pretty solid 5 round group.

I would consider the 6.5 Grendel. That would get you out to the ranges your talking about pretty easily. Velocity is reasonable so wouldn't be a barrel burner compared to some of these other calibers. Low recoil, can spot your own shots. I will say those PD/bunny kills with the 95gr VMax are...

I have an older remington 700, manufactured mid 90s I believe. Anyway, I put a bell and carlson stock and timiney trigger in it. I use it for elk and deer. This is my son in the front shooting it off the flatbed. What do you shoot?
