They have an agreement through FedEx where you can ship it from your home to the repair center. Once it's done they ship it back to your home but someone has to be there to sign for the delivery.

Just got off the phone with Ruger. From what the customer service agent on the phone said they had to replace the entire barrel! She did not say what was wrong with the old one but she stated there should be additional info on the packing slip when I get the gun. I'm so relieved that an issue...

Just got an email from Ruger saying they have "completed work on your firearm". Nothing in the email about what was done or if anything was wrong. Going to call tomorrow and see if I can get some better info. Curious to see the final verdict. Guess we will find out.

Emailed Ruger last night so we will see what they say. I mounted the Venom to my 10/22 with a target barrel to make double sure it wasn't the scope or mounts but with 35 mph winds all day there was no way to even try. Maybe tomorrow.
