Larry trued my action also, and the threads are .008-.010 over, all 4 barrels that I had him make for it fit and function perfect, I know that some factory produced barrel will not fit correct. I started with a 112BTS (for those who don't know, it's a Long Action Single Shot late 90's...

For load work up I still use the 100 count boxes, for my Match Rifles I like to buy by the 1,000, minimum, as I shoot the same load (except for when they change up the bullets!!!) that has worked for years through 3 different (replacement) barrels. Long live the Berger .224 90gr. VLD Target...

You need more scope, never turned my power down due to mirage in my life shooting at paper, "Aim small, miss small" is the truth! Get yourself a 45X45 Leupold,12-42 NSX Nightforce or Sightron 10-50, throw a 4x Bulx eye Booster on there and see the difference.

Looks good, but you should of pulled the strings harder and had them make it from one of the A-5's, I wish they made it for Savage's. Get him a bi pod with a set of Pod Paws so your son will be shooting in the right Class with that thing, no need in competing in Open Class, F/TR is the way to...
