Seekins HAVAK PH1 in 28 Nosler - 195 gr. EOL Bergers?

Folks, I am wondering if anyone has experience with shooting the 195 gr EOL Bergers in a 28 Nosler Seekins HAVAK PH1 rifle. The twist rate is 1:8.6; Is this fast enough to stabilize the 195 gr.? Is the chamber throat long enough to allow seating out far enough as to not sacrificing powder...

    300 prc velocity

I just picked up a Christensen Arms ELR in 300 PRC, 26" barrel with 1:8 twist and bought some Hornady 225 gr. Match and 212 gr. Precision Hunter ammo to break it in and see how it shoots with those loads. Waiting on my scope and mounts to arrive now. I will share my chrono info in the next week...

    Swarovski Z6i 5-30 x 50 BT L - not enough verticle adjustment to zero at 50 yards?

Thanks and I will soon as I get back to normal, just had hernia surgery today. I did get a chance to go to the range and get 3 scopes zero’d yesterday morning, one of those was the Swarovski Z6i ( the topic of this post ) That will have to hold me for a few weeks of recovery.

    Swarovski Z6i 5-30 x 50 BT L - not enough verticle adjustment to zero at 50 yards?

Original problem solved! Feel pretty dumb, it was bases, right screw pattern, but they we acting like a 20MOA setup in reverse, stealing away all of my scope’s vertical adjustment. Changed those out and went to Range yesterday morning, presto! I think will have enough clicks to get me out past...

    Swarovski Z6i 5-30 x 50 BT L - not enough verticle adjustment to zero at 50 yards?

skipglo, you beat me to the reply. On your last note you mentioned the colored dot popping out to verify a complete revolution. They do not pop out, they are there to be set as indicators for a preset yardage zero, like green for 100 yards, the set the yellow for 200 yards, and red for 300...

    Swarovski Z6i 5-30 x 50 BT L - not enough verticle adjustment to zero at 50 yards?

I like that thought process, I am pretty sure that it is bottomed out. I will try this when I get a chance later this evening and verify it in the way you described. I'll report back when I can confirm. Thanks for the suggestion!
