I just checked for grits and shins. A full Grendel case holds 34.6 grains of 4320 and 36.9 grains of TAC.

I have almost a full lb of 4320 left over from the 1990s. I would love to have some 6 ARC or Grendel data for it. Seems like it's right between TAC and CFE 223.

Give the 70 grain Speers a try. Definitely not a long range bullet but inside 200 yds I have had good luck with them on hogs. They are accurate, cheap and typically easy to find. I have only shot one deer with them and it was a white patch shot from about 75 yds but I would not hesitate to...

I have had good luck on deer and hogs with 130 grain Speer HPs, also with 125 grain Nosler BTs and Hornady SSTs. I don't shoot subs.

I use G96. Makes my workshop smell good.
