I have the nightforce 3-10x42 on my light rifle 7-08. I have rung steel at 800yds effortlessly with it. The turrets are capped but they are target style turrets when uncapped. I have the MOAR reticle. Very pleased. Sorry I missed in the original post where you said Mil.

Well I own 3 nightforce scopes that are missing paint and dinged up from hunting abuse and they hold their zero just fine. I rank the looks and feel of this spotting scope right up with them. Sorry my review wasn't up to your expectations. I'll try better next time. Geez

I guess because it feels solid and I could use it to beat someone in the head with. Even leaving the house with it won't prove durable unless I'm willing to wack a tree with it to see. With the scope coat it comes with it probably survive a fall from a plane and an Isis attack.

So far so good. Very clear, durable and easy to use. Really like the tripod. The only negative is the scope coat. It is very hard to remove and install. But I have only played with it around the house. Can't wait to try in the field.

I ordered the ts82 angled package with the new nightforce carbon fiber tripod. Should be here Monday. Thanks for the input.

While I can't speak for Meopta I own two NXS's and a SHV and I would not consider anything else in a rifle scope.

Interested in the NF TS 82 or the Swarovski STS 80. I have looked through both but in a city environment they are identical. Does anyone here have field time with both of these that could give an opinion. Most reviews I have read were positive on both models. Thanks in advance.

I am new to trying to book a guided hunt. I am looking for a Mule Deer hunt. I have no points so looking for a guided hunt that I can hunt without points. I am looking for a hunt that provides shot opportunities for 1000yds or under. I would be happy with a buck over 150". Any advice?

Remington 5r. Nightforce base and rings with NXS 5.5x22x56. Timney trigger and bedded recoil lug. Wyatts bottom metal. She likes my hand loads and I'm very pleased.

Remington 5r 300win mag, Timney trigger, Nightforce NXS 5-22x56, with Nightforce rail and rings, Wyatts bottom metal. Love it but still learning to manage the recoil for follow through. I chose 300wm for available ammo and it covers white tails to moose.
