    Interesting primer seating tool

They use an Armanov part that has an adjustable stop on it. I do too. It gets you closer but still not as consistent as the other 2 discussed in this thread. John is not sure it matters. Erik does it bc Jack Neary told him it did. Gotta love you benchrest guys...

    Interesting primer seating tool

Yep, I've spoken to John a couple of times about it. No good solution there. I did figure out how to make the Dillon prime deeper but it's still inconsistent bc of the slop built into the press. So end up - .004 to -.007 after going thru ACP. Cortina primes off a Primal Rights. I'm more a .003...

    Interesting primer seating tool

I use a Dillon 750. The primer seating is not consistent. Mostly seats between -.001 and +.001. For my more precision loads, I prime on the Dillon for speed but then run the cases through an old Lee ACP. On the ACP, a rod drops down through the case mouth and bottoms out on the inside bottom of...

    Neck tension

For F Open, I use a .002 under mandrel and with springback I end up with .0015 verified with guage pins. I do have to be careful though. Some bullets I use, I load long, say .008 past touch, and if I chamber them and then have to open the bolt, the bullet can stick in the lands. Not fun.

You can Notes to individual shots Or down at the bottom of main screen to the Notes section

    Garmin xero

It will when you save to computer. But it uses all shots in the AVG, ES, SD calculations. It removes those in Shotview from the calculations and gives you revised numbers

Nice. If you edit/add clean bore , cold bore or Notes in Shotview, it should save it that way when you export the CSV file and then print it with those changes. It does when I export the CSV and email it to myself. When I open it my laptop, it's all there. One thing it doesn't do, is if you add...

Unfortunately, in this case, I use an Android. So when I export the CSV from Shotview, I can save on my phone as a CSV. But when I open it, as a CSV, I can open it Google Sheets or Microsoft 365 Excel. Both are limited feature and do not appear to have a print function or ability to save in...

Yep, I do that in some cases but if I shoot like a 20 shot session, you can't get all the individual shots into 1 screenshot. It makes it messy.

I do wish Garmin had included a default session report that could be printed from ShotView on your phone. I know why there is a CSV file that can be downloaded but that requires exporting, sending to my email, opening my laptop, opening in Excel, formatting, then sending to printer. Most of the...

LOL, don't ever let them know about Alexa. I had a swing set and bicycle show up on my doorstep one day from Amazon shopping!

    Neck tension

Uhm, he said .005 in some ( that's 0025 per side) and .001 in others. That's 0005 per side ( but I went to public school) and he uses that for a 300 RUM ( not exactly a competition rifle). I'm just saying not many people would consider that advisable or safe.

.0005 per side. Don't want to be laying next to you.
