    Should I go 20 practical?

l have a Cooper in TAC20. Simply point and shoot out to 300yds. A TRUE 4000fps, just as flat as a 22-250 with HALF the recoil. Retired the 22-250

Need advice on caliber for Moose and bear in Alaska.

Jiggy, 2 bore is a 35 hundred grain bullet. l think l remember reading about Sir Samuel's 2 Bore in my high school days. l remember the gun being a single shot. App 18 pounds, Usually sold in pairs. A trusted gun bearer hopefully backed 0le Sam up. My 458 Win 70 was super accurate with anything...

    Don't recommend 53gr V-maxs

Both 53s shoot quite well from my Cooper 21 Varmint in 222Rem. l have not tried any 53s in my Cooper Varmint in 223Rem. unless marked most CF 224cal Coopers are 1 n 12 twist. Prairie dog bullets need SPEED in these small cases. l think that's where the 40gr VMAX really shines. At 200yds a good...

Never been to Pine Ridge Reservation. Been to Ft Wayne lnd at a Motorola radio school for the Army before Desert Storm. Saw Rushmore which is further West still. Flew into Rapid City, missing The Pine Ridge. Almost 30yrs around the US l saw quite a few ARs, M4s, M16s. l never considered them a...

US forest issues kill order for feral cows in New Mexico

We have an open southern border. Maybe 10,000 a day. You or l may call them all sorts of names. The White House calls them VOTES for Joe. Put 'Joe's voters' to work catching their beef dinner in New Mexico

    Reloading Safety

Everything fordy said is true. l think by saying ''torch'' he means FLASHLIGHT! l tumble my fired cases twice. 0nce before sizing and again after. Double tumbling keeps your dies clean. Gives you shiny bright ammo too. That shows you and others the pride of your work. 0ne can ONLY of powder on...

    Opinions on prvi partizan brass

PPU brass l have used is not consistent by weight in 222 or 223. SIG is very consistent in 223 followed by Norma. Another great 223 brass is AUSA. Sorriest of all 222/223s has always been Winchester. R-P is the softest 223 brass l have used. l reform 223 cases into TAC20 and 222Rem. One pass...

    Prairie Dog Rifle Question…

Great aspect of shooting is the memory of those great shots. l don't go for bragging rights. No trophies hung on the wall. Usually by myself. Just to please/satisfy me

US forest issues kill order for feral cows in New Mexico

lt seems perhaps the USFS should allow the state of New Mexico and its folks manage their state. l seem to remember the MORA FIRE a couple yrs back. Wasn't that a USFS project gone wrong??
