    Looking for a new press

I bought a T7 a few years back. I looked at the Forsters and Lyman as well. I liked the turret concept better. I like my T7. It's solid.

    Colorado Reloading Swap

I would love to get some H1000 but would also be interested in RL26, Retumbo, N570, N565 and IMR8133.

    Colorado Reloading Swap

I have some Varget as well but I'm a little further north than Platteville. I'm in Windsor but could meet you in Loveland.

Not sure I’m buying into the hype

The thing that convinced me to buy one (a few) was when my neighbor and I went across the road from our subdivision and shot prairie dogs one morning. He had suppressors. It was legal and safe but would have drawn a lot of attention without suppressors. That place is surrounded by houses, golf...

    Harrel's Powder Measure

I have both but I use the RCBS chargemaster the most (almost exclusively). I do use a lot of stick powders. Before I got the Chargemaster, I would use the Harrel's to throw a charge slightly less than that I wanted, dump it in a scale and and trickle it up to the correct weight. Most of the...

    Wanted H1000 powder

I have had the same experience quite a bit. I found an item I had been watching back in stock at Brownells. They said there were only 3 in stock so I snapped it up. A couple of days later I got a "Back in stock" notification. When I checked it out, they were out of stock. I don't depend on those...

    Group size Confused

I remember a gun mag writer addressing the 5 or 3 shot group question. He said it depends on the barrel. He felt sporter barrels heat up faster and may not provide consistent groups after 3 shots. Heavier barrels will be consistent for more shots. I see his logic but there may be different...

    37 1/2" Mule Deer

Potential scoring wouldn't stop me from pulling the trigger on a buck like that. Congrats on that one.

Had to share this with you guys.

Scheels moved in about 1/2 mile from Dicks a few years ago. They sell a lot of the same stuff in a bigger store with more selection. And they have a great gun section and a Ferris wheel.

    Reloading Bench Set-Ups

Hopefully, within the next year, we will be finishing our basement and part of that will be my reloading/gun room. So I have been watching for ideas for a new reloading bench as well as the rest of the room. I am considering an L-shaped bench with T-track. I also need to work out handy storage...

    Thumbhole stocks

I have two Richards Mircrofit Dual Grip thumbhole stocks and have enjoyed shooting and hunting with them. It can be shot using the thumbhole or gripped like a standard stock. A left handed person could shoot easily enough. I will agree that the reach for the safety is awkward. But I am...
