I forgot to unload my stainless CVA for about 2 months after a hunt. After unloading and cleaning there were about 3 large pits in the lands from corrosion. Next they will make a law that after you fish for the day you need to take the hook off at night and when walking to the next fishing spot.

One thing that surprised me was I had been reloading the 270 for about 10 years then I measured the bullet diameter in millimeters and it's a 7mm.

Killed about 10 elk and one oryx with a 270 and they all died. The problem I have had with thin jacketed bullets is the loss of meat from blood shot. If a person is not getting quick kills with the 270 it isn't the killing power of the bullet diameter that is the problem. Been using the 140gn AB...

Since no one has replied: Got the press and set it up. Took a little time for setup but man it is a lot faster production than a single stage or turret. Glad I bought it.

We take the detachable sides off and strap the quarters to it. I am not worried about top heavy, that just gives my 16 old son a lesson in mechanics and physics. Ha ha!
