Does anyone have experience with the Browning X-Bolt Predator Hunter A-TACS AU. I'd like to know if this rifle has good consistent accuracy. Will it do better than MOA?

I am northern u.p. of Mich. To date this year on the shoreline area of lake superior the temp has barely cracked 80 F. My shooting range is within 50 yards of lake superior. Has been sweatshirt weather so far.

Which varmint sized up to say .243 auto loader has best accuracy/durability characteristics new or old? I am not an AR fan as they are just too bulky to carry for my likes. I prefer a sporter style for carry.

Are BDC's worth having for long range deer hunting? I'm saying 400-500yds. Or are you better off ranging with a range finder and judging hold over. Do products like Leupolds CDS system work well? Obviously any of this is only possible if your target is standing waiting for you to shoot at him.
