Our hounds' men around here have literally killed hundreds of coyotes with the Federal Premium #4 buck copper plated buffered shot 3" mag. being the go-to round. Keep in mind the 2 3/4" round is our 2nd choice it has less pellets but increased velocity for the longer shots.

My daughter was a Swat Sniper trained by 5th Special Forces John L. Plaster. She shot 308 WIN 168 Gr. BTHP (Match) Factory Remington express Ammo in her Tika Sniper Rifle. Several years ago, her Dept. switched to Hornady 308 Match.

Love my Mickey Mouse boots can sit in my deer stand all day in November, I get them a size larger & put the Super warmers in , way better than toe warmers. Also take a pair of dry extra socks along.

I do have a vintage Ruger 10/22 Super accurate , needs a major take down & clean up. Hasn't been touched since i bought it in '66or so. I stopped by the local Gun Shop today they do a major take down & cleaning for $50-$60. But i'm not interested to pass it down for sometime yet!
