Well, you went straight to the source so sounds like the 6.5 Creedmore will be good for this year.
After my initial post I searched around and didn't find many Creedmores that are in stock, not sure if they are sold out or haven't been produced yet for 2012.

Love to bowhunt. Ive been fortunate to take Brown bear, Moose, Elk, White tail, Mule deer and blacktail deer. All were do it myself hunts. My bowhunting is slowing down now because of bone spurs in my shoulders.
Time to dust off the rifles.

Thanks for the nice write-up.
I find it interesting that the first "similar thread" listed below is about Ruger's decision to drop the 6.5 Creedmore. Is there information out that contradicts that thread? If so will be interesting to see which of the 6.5 rounds survives.
I do believe that...

Brentc...definitely talking noise suppression. Im trying to decide if a silencer will allow me to fire in a hunting situation without hearing protection and enjoy reduced recoil as well. Sounds like your experience is that both recoil and muzzle blast are reduced significantly. My hearing is...
Thanks everyone for the information, I really didn't know what to expect from a suppressor. I have always thought I'd like to try one out but wouldn't know what rifle / caliber to start with.
D.ID Im fortunate to hang my hat in Idaho as well, so no problems with ownership, just paperwork and...
Looking for the practical (not legal) comparison.
Just put a Brake on my .338 LM. Helped a lot with recoil but introduced a whole new level of muzzle blast to me and is pretty tough on the guys using the benches next to me as well. If the Brake were replaced with a Supressor would it...
My Nikon Rangefinder gave up the ghost so I'll be looking for a replacement. Can't afford to spend much so will probably be shopping the "used optics" section.
