Thanks woodnut I will be checking gas port size on the barrel next to be sure it is .083" . Not sure I am impressed with this KAK built upper.

Just did a new build on Spikes Tact lower with KAK 5.56 kit. Function tested great breaking in barrel. Then screwed my can on and only fires 1st rnd. Seems the hammer wont stay in cocked position. Used factory PMC FMJ 55gr. just to get on paper. What can I do to rid this single shot problem...

Agree with Jim, I got a Nikon BDC 600 P223 on an AR and like. But really like the SWFA SS10x I got on my Rem 700 220Swift. Thinking of another SWFA SS16x for the Rem 700 243 Win. SWFA scopes for $300 is closest to glass one can get for the lowest cost. Just a rookie myself in this longrange...

my wife and son are hunting while I'm out of town workIng. it is 12 degrees there and they are on set waiting for a nice white tail buck to come by. I shot this 17 inch inside buck last week while home for a couple hours. sorry can't seem to figure out how to attach a picture with this system...
