I have been using a 36" Trigger stick ($125) with a Spartan - Davros ball head ($75) for western hunting the past few years. I had shoulder surgery last year and drew for AZ Elk.

Completely agree. I got a Marsupial last year and doubt I’ll ever look for another. Well designed, comfortable, magnetic flap stays in place either covered or uncovered.
I agree. 6 years ago I did this same exercise. I bought the Tikka CTR .308 and my brother got the Tikka CTR 6.5 CM. Both great guns. We have taken many deer and pronghorn. Just for fun one midday during a TX deer hunt we set out a 500 yard range with 8” gong. We both hit 9/10. He reloads...
I have 4 Plano cases that I have flown with many times. They each have 4 to 6 latches depending on size and 2 of those are locking latches. I don’t use extra padlocks, although there are holes for them.
Plano cases are strong, well padded and have pressure release valves for flying.

Well done! I put on about 11 miles a day for 2 days and didn't get my pronghorn until mostly through 3rd day. Great stalks with 10 lbs suppressed Tikka. Started wishing it was a bit lighter.
