Guess ill have to check the local laws had no clue it'd be illegal since people use the remington bolt pistols, tc contenders, and savage strikers. Around here during gun season instead of slugguns. I don't see the difference.

First deer I ever shot. Big doe on the run with a stoeger 20ga coach gun to make it look like I was bird hunting while my dad deer hunted haha. I was 11. Hit it twice first shot gut shot 60yds and second shot dropped her at 80yds. Doubt I could do it again to save my life.

Anyone know where I can buy a pistol stock for any savage 110, 10, 116, etc I wanna make a pistol out of an older 243 and cut the barrel down but I'm having no luck finding a stock. Thanks!

I love the accutrigger I have a 110 270 with it and will proubly sell the 7mm I just bought I just want the trigger on the stw I'm keeping rather than buy a trigger for $80 to $100. Just wondering if the swap would work before I try it.

+10 on staying away from remington. Not a fan. Action is good to build on but I don't like there factory guns besides maybe the 5r

What can you spend? On the low side id recomend tikka or savage in the caliber you want. I have a tikka 243 my sister just got only shot the cheap blue box federals through it shoots under an inch. My 2 savages are tack drivers. Love the accutrigger.

well as long as they fit in the gun nicely sizing them the first time wont do much for me will it? and its a stock savage hunting rifle soon to lose the origional trigger and stock. reason im being cheap is ill proubly rebarrel to 257 stw in the near future and the dies will likely be useless to...

i just bought a 7mm stw and 2 bags of new brass do i need to full length size the new brass? or can i just neck size it? reason i ask is because it would save me some money not buying a full length die, as i already bought a competition bullet seating die and would just buy a neck sizer. thanks!
