Joe, I agree with the other posters, it is about time you guys got on TV. Your videos are the best in the industry in my opinion. Luckily here in AZ we can hunt suppressed now. Keep up the good work.
I use that round pretty exclusively for hunting out of my AR's. I get really good results and very consistant from box to box.
Its not a fur friendly round though and with the ballistic tips, be careful of your shot placement. Luckily i never hit the shoulder bone, but have had people tell...
I was a little jealous, but so happy for Cody. I got a nice male gray this year, but not the colors shown here. I love hunting in NM, it has so much different terrain.
My buddy Pat, his son Cody and i went hunting towards Silver City, NM. We had some great land to hunt on and the land owner was one of the nicest guys I have ever met.
We had a few opprotunities, stalked a coyote on a ridge and into a canyon and I even took a very very long shot at a coyote...
This also depends on other factors. Barometric pressure, humidity and also the distance you are shooting at. I use Density Altitude(which puts all those numbers together) when figuring out my drop charts and look at my Kestrel 4000 before shooting to determine my bullet drop.

I think you should perform another test. Shoot the ceiling tile without anything in front of it. I be you will only have a hole there. Once the bullet goes through the jug of water it probably loses enough energy/velocity that it becomes unstable.
I am surprised that the water jug didn't...
it throws you off big time, at 100yds, shooting port side up 90degree prone, you are about 3 1/2 inches low and 3 1/2 inches left. Thats how i am at 100yds with my 260 with my USO scope.
Imagine if you have to shoot under a car/object where you can only turn your gun sideways.
Try it...
TJ runs a good match in Tiger Valley, hes a very good guy. I run the TPRC here in Phoenix every year. This past years was 3 weeks ago and it was a blast. If you never seen one before, take a look at our match website(IM Not trying to sell anything) if your interested. TPRC2011 Match its...
I run a .260 bolt gun in matches and my barrel length is only 24". You will get more velocity out of a 26", but I've hit targets out to 1350yds with my 24".
Its a personal preference. I made mine 24 because i run a can sometimes and the extra couple inches makes it even more top heavy.
I...
