It is primarily white tail, but I was having trouble finding the nosler 142's so I was thinking that you could reload a light weight bullet in the 28 and have the same thing. I am new to reloading so I'm not sure.
It's mostly for deer, but maybe one day I'll get a chance for something bigger. I didn't realize they were the same hull. Looks like you can go to a lighter bullet with the 28 and it should shoot as flat as the 26. Not sure

I'm interested in a 26 nosler but having trouble finding any parts to reload with. Is this round going away. Everything is sold out and no backorder available is what I'm seeing. I'm looking at a Christensen arms ridgeline because of the price. I want a fast flat shooting round that is good up...
