Hi im thinking of going to build a budget rifle. I will use the 700sa action with a barrel nut for changing my own barrels.. Is there more then the Savage solution?

Get a supressor or brake, it will help you with recoil and get your groups down to 1“ easy.

I shoot better with a pistol grip, or a grip like on the sauer 200 str. The tradisional hunting grip dont give me as much controll on the range stabalising my gun. Thats why I want a Chassi for the range. Im thinking about a gun without scope around 5kg. Im a big guy so one kg give or take dont...

Thans for the nice innput:) Im living in Norway by the way. Did not know about that savage easy barrel change, but after a serch, the savage barrels have to be ordered from US. No barrels in Norway. This rifle will be used for hunting and some long range target. I have a 700SA in AICS stock...

Im going to buy a 300 win mag this summer. Im looking at - Tikka super varmint - Savage 111 long range - Remington 700 Do they have the same accuracy? I will later uppgrade with MDT chassis.
