Once fired brass from different rifle

Full length size the brass and try it. If it does not chamber, you will need a Willis die.

Slower Burning Powders ranked numerically by burn rate

I do not use burn rate charts. I use updated manuals to determine the better powders to try.

A co-ax press would be my choice if you can find one.

Old Fired Cases Won't Chamber in New Barrel

Redding competition shell holders will do the opposite of what the original poster wants to do. A small base die may work.

What is the total cost of equipment to start neck turning?

I use the Sinclair neck turning equipment. For the last 40 plus years I have neck turned for 22-250 and 7 mm-08 without any problems. setting up for one caliber will cost less than $100. You will probably need two mandrels for each additional caliber. The tools are available from Brownells.

    Beam Scales

I have used the Hornady beam scale since about 1975. I check the scale every time it is used with RCBS check weights and it is always OK.

Loading the 300 WBY Magnum, what would you do?

Use a Federal 215 magnum primer. This primer was developed for the Weatherby 300. I Tried the CCI magnum primers with H4831 with no luck. I tried this about 25 years ago.

    RCBS dies?

Use a nylon brush of the same diameter to brush the inside of the neck. Get a small amount of Imperial Wax on your fingers and wipe the body of the case. Do not get any of the shoulder or neck of the case. Lubricate the inside of the case neck by dipping in Motor Mica. There are also...
