    Moving to Colorado

If you ahev the time and inclination, head up to the Pawnee Grasslands. There is place to shoot to the right as you drive in. I've left a lot of lead at that spot.

    Your Opinion on Self-Defense

Take a gander at this: http://www.legis.nd.gov/assembly/60-2007/bill-text/HAVO0300.pdf The state: North Dakota. The bill is HB 1319. It’s a castle doctrine. The current law on the books puts the onus on the victim of an attack to use the least force necessary, and by default, to prove that the...

    A Bore Cleaner Test

Thanks for the report. A little Warthog does go a long way. I'm going to have to re-write the instructions to say fewer strokes of the rod. Now try it in reverse; clean with Wipe Out and then follow up with Warthog. RogerK

    Primer/Ignition question?

My vote goes for heat. Try a long break between 3 shott groups. I mean get the barrel temp down to ambient temerature and then see what happens.

    Does a Lead tip melt?

If the tip melts, all of the lead melts and the target gets hit with something resembling heavy rain. It's an Old Wives' Tale.

    A Bore Cleaner Test

Re: 50 BMG as a copper remover..... I'm back from my moose hunt. I’m happy to report that a moose died on the third day. One shot, one moose and from a 270 Winchester shooting a 130 grain bullet. Heresy I know, but the moose is dead nevertheless skinned and hanging in my machine shop aging...

Help newbe select a reloading press.

I have a RCBS RS 2. I purchased it back in the 60s. It's been a heck of a good press. A few years ago I purchased a Partner press so I could set up my seating die and not have to switch dies when I went from sizing to seating. Know what I know now, I'd buy the Partner press and not the larger...

    A Bore Cleaner Test

[ QUOTE ] The test is 100% invalid and not very useful. I worked with the most famous ammoniacal chemist on the planet and an laboratory chemist to come up with a valid test. Ammonia facts: <ul type="square"> Ammonia quickly evaporates and looses strength Ammonia strength is measured by...

    A Bore Cleaner Test

Copper Test 2 Post I did the tests requested on Montana Extreme 50 BMG, Wipe Out, and Bore Tech Eliminator. I also ran a test to see if Warthog would cut lead. It doesn’t cut lead and we don’t make that claim. It simply won’t clean lead out a barrel. I’m going to look into that after the...
