I jumped up to a 28 nosler from a 7mm rem mag roughly 2 years ago and have never looked back.
I still have the rem mag but every time i go out hunting i always reach into the cabinet for the nosler.
Ive never really had any issues finding an accurate load for it.
I load retumbo in mine and drive...
I brought a fierce carbon fury in 28 nosler about a year ago.
The 162gr eld-x precision hunter ammo was terrible in it. maybe a inch and a half at 100yds at best.
Im now running a hand load consisting of 195 bergers, retumbo, ADG brass and federal 215 match primers.
It shoots 1/2-3/4 moa all day...
