Good to hear more good feedback. On the gun I've ordered one with my local dealer he does not know when one will become available. Purchased a vortex viper hs lr to go on it found a deal couldn't pass up. Might have to put it on something else while I wait for the ruger american predator 6.5...
I'm looking at an ruger american predator 6.5 creedmoor but new to the caliber and rifle. Would like thoughts on difference in it and 260. I know the American doesn't come in 260. I plan on shooting it for long range shooting 1000 yards. Sure I will hunt with it some to deer probably no...
Understand talking to others but is there any information other than trial and error and asking others. Guess what I asking is what is the reason one works over another what is the property that one powder has that makes it better. One burns faster or slower what let's me know that.
I'm new to reloading there are dozens of powders I've looked up load data and for one bullet there are many different powders other than someone or some company saying that is the powder for that load how can I decide?
Going to be reloading for first time for my 7mm wsm x bolt. I have hornady 162 sst any suggestions on load. Noticed my x bolt magazine doesn't allow much room for coal. Anything hints not found in reloading manual or for the x bolt.
Ttsx bullets work well on deer hunt near thick area's pass through is good For blood trail. They do good damage too. Other bullets that expand to quickly leave blood inside they work not problem if you have open woods.
I would be interested in the once fired brass just told another would take 100 for 30 that was his price they were nickel so would not be looking to pay more than that. The factory ammo would need to know what it was.
