What gun did you want that was never made ?

A Freedom Arms in 500 JRH would be on my list. Not at all interested in their 500WE with the brass issue.

    Moose bullet

Can't use smokeless here. Definitely would if I could! Been using 95gr by weight of bh209. Maybe it's worth putting more in and seeing how accurate and how fast it goes

    Moose bullet

I drew a muzzleloader moose tag. Plan is to take the 45 that I built. Shot a goat with it last month using a 350gr arrowhead bullet. Goat didn't go too far and in my limited experience they're tougher than moose. Think its a good choice for moose or should I look at other options?

Leupold RDS with cds turret. Not nearly as impressive as open sights

    Mt. Goat

I did anchor it to the ice ax since it was pretty close to a drop off and it was icy. We wore crampons most of the way up. It was very slick. I like goat meat. Sometimes it's chewy though. This nanny isn't chewy. Not tender like sheep but it's not bad!

There is a picture on the first post of the rifle I used. Only difference is the scope is off and a red dot installed.

Red dots are legal but not scopes. I used a leupold RDS.

    Mt. Goat

Just got back from a muzzle loader goat hunt. I tagged this 10" 9 year old nanny. Shot was 300 yards uphill from prone over my backpack. The 350gr arrowhead bullet did a good job even though it impacted a touch high. 95gr by weight of bh209. Rifle didn't have that scope on it for the hunt...
