I built a 284 on a Rem 700 L/A with a 26" McCowen 8.5 twist heavy barrel. I shoot the 175 Berger Elite Hunter at 2820fps using RL26 getting 1/4" groups. I also shoot the 162 ELD-X at 2979fps using RL26 also 1/4" groups. Have not tried the 168, Hope this helps.
