Ruger 77 Stainless 225 Speer BT 72gn H4350 goes into one hole. Hot but ok. No experience with Elk as I am in Australia. Others may be able to comment on this projectile.

A bloke who has done ridiculous amounts of testing of many projectiles in numerous calibres on game told me that he considers Berger VLD Hunting projectiles unethical.

Some experienced hunters don't think the VLDH is "ethical" due to erratic terminal performance. Any experiences here?

Why have Nosler not done this? It seems a no brainer.

Wally. If I sight in at 100 I run out of adjustment on the BT at about 570yds. By sighting in at 250 or so I can get out to 630yds before I run out. I get what you are talking about re hunting zero which is what I have done for years until I got a BT set up.
