    Weatherby feeding issue

I recently barreled my 300 MK V to a 300 PRC and had the same issue. I went back to my smith and took the old barrel/Chamber to him and had to recut the campher leading into the chamber. It works, but not as smoothly as I would like it to. There is a smith in Nevada that specializes in this...

Need a new first aid kit.

Sounds like one of the best idea's on this thread was the Stop The Bleed Course! That being said, My kid returned from Crapganistan, and let me know that the clot gauze was better than the powder. The reason is because if the wind is blowing there is a chance the powder will end up in your eyes!

AZ go to gunsmith Prescott area

I have used Owens Armory in Chino Valley with great results. Also Ruffs in Flagstaff just rebarreled my 300 Weatherby MK V to a 300 PRC. RPG is their web. Excellent!

    300 weatherby

I'm going to run the factory blind box. Although the book calls for a max OAL of 3.560, I have loaded a dummy round to 3.710 and it feeds and ejects good. I'm thinking that I will use the factory reamer to chamber and it has a .361 freebore. Thats a huge jump. How tolerant are your bullets in a...

    300 weatherby

So which Hammer bullet 'heavy' would you recommend for the 300 weatherby 1in9 twist 26 inch barrel? It will be used mainly for hunting.

    300 weatherby

I burnt out my 300 Weatherby Mk V at 800 or so rounds. I just ordered a Bartlein 3B 9 twist . After a lot of consideration, I am probably going to rechamber it back to the 300 WBY. Decision is based on my current inventory of components for reloading it. Also I'll be pushing Berger 230 Hybrid...

    300 WBY build

drtony, I'm getting ready to rebarrel my 300 Weatherby Mk V. I'm curious as to the reamer and throating. Did you use the standard , Short , or no throat? I plan to shoot the 220 or 230 Bergers. I will also be using the factory floor plate magazine and am concerned about OAL. Thanks

    water canteen for hunting

I use a bladder as well, but More than a few times, my sip tube has frozen solid. Late season hunts in Az! I like the suggestions of tucking the tube inside.

The Wait Is Over - Revic BR4 Ballistic Rangefinder from Gunwerks

I have been bugging them for years since I bought the original about making a green or black readout... I'm color deficient/blind! For now I'll hang on to my original because it has been a vital tool for ballistic solutions. I just have to take extra time to range and look at a dark background...

    Wow…just wow!

I just loaded 100 rounds of my 260 rem. and 50 7 r saum. Jugs are getting light! I also just purchased an Anschutz Super Air 2001 Olympic 10 meter rifle. Great off hand practice. I have been getting a LOT of shooting practice with my air rifles these days.

    New Pistol to load for

I can tell you from experience, that factory ammo will be more reliable than reloaded ammo. I shoot weekly with very experienced and even Master reloaders. We always shoot our reloads in quite a few weapons and at some point there will be a failure with some ones gun. FTF , Smokestack, and even...

    New Pistol to load for

I use a reduced load with Tightgroup In my Kimber. I did have to put in a lighter spring. If this is going to be your EDC weapon then I HIGHLY recommend that you only use factory new loaded ammo while carrying.
