Having owned a Steyr Pro-hunter 6.5x55 for 15 years now I can only praise it. Living in Estonia now where I have harvested dozens of large boar, roe-deer, and half a dozen moose. None went more that 50 meters most dropped on the spot. Of the 4 calibers that I own, it is by far my favourite...

PS. It is often said that more moose are killed by the 6.5x55 than any other caliber. Also lets face it what is the ultra popular 6.5 Creedmore? A slighly modified Swede😎
