Hmm... ok. So we were shooting the other day at 330yds. My brother hit it 3 times with his 22. LR out of 10rds. I hit it 5/5. The problem was since we were aiming above the target, it was hard to group since we didn't have a specific point to aim at.

I'm shooting at 100yds. I'm hoping with the right ammunition I can get at least out to 200yds with under an inch grouping. But like I said earlier, I know a few people where there guns like either the cheaper stuff, or the more expensive stuff. Could just be one of those flukes. Thanks.

Hmm... ok, Thanks Tom. The lucky thing for me is that 22. Mag isn't as expensive as say a .223, or 22-250. So far the CCI Maxi-Mag is working good for me. Its grouping under .5 MOA So I guess all that's left to do is break it in, and find out whether or not my gun likes the cheaper ammo, or the...

Trying to get good groups can be hard without the right ammunition. So could you suggest some good ammunition for accuracy for a Marlin, 22. Magnum? I was thinking on the Hornady V-max. But A friend of mine said that the CCI Maxi-Mag+V is just as good, but cheaper. Thanks :)

If you can answer this, what would you say is a good scope for a long range 22. Mag? I'm hopefully trying to get it out to 200-300 yards. I just got it and its grouping around .5 MOA at 100yds. I'm just breaking it in and have only 48rds through it. Also what would be some good modifications for...
