Thanks for the info and the offer. Let me try a couple things first and see how that works. Will advise. Not sure how to tell if your gas block will fit - I’ve got a heavy 22” barrel from Moriarti - I’ll ck diameter of existing block.

no adjustable gas block - maybe that's the fix....

hmmm - i think the 308 goes slightly backward, say, to 4 o'clock; while the 6.5CM goes forward at 2 o'clock, if barrell is 12 o'clock.

with the 6.5CM: either failure to fully lock into battery, or failure to eject properly and getting jammed w subsequent round. Also, sometimes is prone to not locking back w an empty mag.

built an AR10 last year, and have 2 uppers - 308win and 6.5CM. probably only have a hundred rounds or so through each upper. 308win upper cycles pretty reliably, but more trouble with jamming on the 6.5CM upper. question - am I trying to do something that won't work (i.e. - common lower...

How much the bullet is “crooked” in the case.

PPU brass - I keep brass grouped by # of loadings. FL sizing only, bumping shoulders a couple thou. Trim all same length. Haven’t checked both at bullet tip and case mouth. Will do. I do rotate cases and “seat” 3 times.
