    Problem gun

Erratic groups suggest something is moving, so check scope (you did), mounts and bedding. You might play with torque on action bolts. Do you have good consistency in sizing and loading? Otherwise, the barrel is suspect.

Good OU 20 gauge for Sporing clays

I suggest you consider the used Browning Citori and target variants (i.e., 525, 725, etc.). They are solidly built, have more weight in the barrels (than Berretas) for good follow-through, and are reasonably priced.

    Which caliber

The primary concern is actually hitting the target (bear) with little time and under high stress, which is why the Glock G20 gets my vote. Most folks will be lucky to get one or two shots from a revolver, but the Glock will be faster for many. Heavy recoiling revolvers (i.e., 460 and 500 S&W)...

2021 elk is in the freezer

After shooting compound bows for 38 years, I am hunting whitetail deer with a recurve this year. After watching a bunch of videos on heavy, weight-forward arrows by “Ranch Fairy” on YouTube, my set-up is shooting 700-grain arrows with a two-blade head from a 50-lb. bow. These arrows will fully...

    7mm Bullet Advice Please

I have shot the Federal Premium 150-grain Nosler Partitions exclusively for years in my 7mm RM and the 140-grain in a .270 Win. I have killed many whitetail deer with great results out to 260 yards with both rifles. It is very rare to get anything less than a full pass-through by a Partition in...

    New factory 308 rifle

I have aN as new Cooper 54 in .308 with all options that I would sell. I bought a CA with a threaded barrel to run a suppressor, and use that rifle. The Cooper has a 15 round count because I started the barrel break-in process. PM if interested for more details.

    Spotting scope recommendations?

I agree with Recon$$ if you can be patient. I have the Kowa 77mm, and am very pleased with it.

    Spotting scope recommendations?

Another vote for Kowa! I did a lot of research, and found Kowa brand spotters are one of the leading brands used in long range shooting competitions. I bought the 77mm scope to balance performance and portability, and have no regrets. BTW, I just upgraded my eyepiece to the 25-60x, and have...

    Which Factory 280AI Rifle?

Cooper gets my vote due to their clean lines and out-of-the-box accuracy. My Model 54 in .270 Win. shoots sub-1/2” with factory ammo and is the 2nd most accurate rifle I’ve ever owned. A CZ 527 - with single set-trigger in .22 Hornet - is my most accurate placing factory ammo into 1/4” groups.

Kowa 25x LER Eyepiece for Kowa 77 & 88 spotters

I just upgraded to a 25-60x eyepiece for my Kowa 77mm spotter, and no longer need this 25x long eye-relief eyepiece. This eyepiece (Model TE-20x) fits the Kowa 77mm (Model TSN-770) and 88mm (TSN -880) spotters. I have only taken this spotter to the range once, and the eyepiece is in excellent...
