I went with the Leupold vx6 3x18x50 on mine . I have 4 of these on rifles and I do like them. I understand the vx6hd is a improved version

I’m getting ready to try bh209 and Thor 250 Bullets in my encore and rem 700 pre2004 any suggestions on starting point . I’m thinking 90 grains by volume and work up to maybe 110 and see how it goes . Any comments on experiences would help. Thanks
