Thanks guys. Long rifles inc. has done 2 rifles for me. This cerokote took 4 days. Cant beat the quality and turnaround time. Ill never build a rifle with anyone else besides these guys. And both are shooters. My 300 wsm they did shoots under a quarter inch.

Decided to go with graphite black.

JE customs, I chamfered a fired case and there was no change. I trimmed the case down .010 and tried again. Really no change. I can push the bullet in and once it gets past the boattail, i can spin it with minimal pressure. They just dont fall in the fired case like the other rifles i have...

The bullet won't go in to the fired case at all without a lot of force. Yep, i full lenght size the neck.

Mike, My original concern was that I couldn't take a bullet and easily put in the neck of a fired case. My 30 calibers, after fired, you can drop a bullet thru the case neck with room to spare. The 243 is really tight doing the same activity. Wanted to make sure the chamber wasn't cut too...

I am trying to figure out what color to go with for my new 243 ai. I was thinking one of the green variants. Maybe the OD green, but im having a hard time finding a good example of this combination with the stock i have. Any suggestions or pics of your rifles with similar colors?

Looks like everyone was spot on about the scope. We took off the vortex and put on a Leupold and it started hammering out .75 groups. Thanks for all the help and suggestions guys.

Yep, forgot to mention i got a leupold ready to put on at the range if the new timney doesnt help. The vortex he has was bought new with the rifle, so i was hesitant to think it was already bad, but i guess stranger things have happened.

Yes sir, bug holes has them. That's where I have been looking and pondering for the last week. I was just worried about over spinning the bullets with an 8 twist. I also have a #3 on my 300wsm and love it. I'm thinking the 2b would be a better weight barrel for what I'm wanting to build...
