I used them in a 270wsm with a 1-8.5 and the advertised bc was mid 7's but I used .680 at 2940fps and that seem to put everything spot on

Depends on what you consider heavy it's just under 14lbs with ammo for me that's not heavy considering my average rifle is 12.5lbs
