Good advice about calipers. If you're certain of what is happening and why, then you could alter the size of your expander. I wouldn't do that until I was very certain of all measurements.

Bullet stability is more dependent on the length of the bullet than the weight. And a 6.5" twist will stabilize all of the bullets you mentioned. You can check stuff like that here: https://bergerbullets.com/twist-rate-calculator/
