I have two rifles with that safety, they both work ok. I have them because it locks the bolt so they don't open. They are left handed rifles if that makes a difference.

Looks like we think alike, I have at Deviant Tactical built by Proof in 300wm. I only used it once for a moose hunt. It is kind of heavy so don't like carrying it. Shoots good.

Us leftys shoot right and left rilfes, do you ever see a right hander shoot a left handed rifle? Maybe we are lucky being left handed.

Try to find a lifty in anything bigger than a 30cal. Montana Rifle makes one but that is about it for now.
