I LOVE Barnes 180gr TTSX in .30-06. I went to Colorado 10-21-12 hunting elk. I was a little worried about its expansion shooting long distance. I shot my first bull, a 4x5, at 530 yds. Will H4350 fit in the casing? The barnes manual says it's load density is 101%? If I back off a little will that work? I have heard that barnes bullets can be rather long. Just want to make sure it will go together ok. Please advise. Magnumaniac... Did you mean RL-19? The Manual said the load... -

I am new to reloading and am having trouble deciding on an accurate powder for barnes tsx in 30-06 marlin xl7. I will be using it for hunting 100-400 yds. Any recommendations for a starting powder?
