I typically shoot it until the primer pockets loosen up. I do inspect it for other visible issues with each loading.

I know that condoms have been used successfully to keep the weather out of barrels. Now, some of these carbon fiber barrels might need a Trojan Magnum though.

I did one a few years back that used a ceramic ball bearing and piece of 38 special brass, I think. It lightened it up noticeably.

I had good luck with Superformance and the 88 grain HH. I never even got close to pressure in a real quick work up and it was smoking fast.
