I did look into that. NF doesn’t swap out reticles on first focal plane scopes or else I would have had them swap in an MOA-XT instead.

Completely agree. I’m not seeing any weird pressure spikes or anything that would indicate a carbon ring, but I guess that doesn’t mean one isn’t starting to form. Probably should get a borescope, but I’m afraid if I got one I’d never be able to quit cleaning…

Ryan - thanks for the response. I’m running .003 neck tension right now if memory serves me correct. Might mess around with RL33 a bit more but am glad to hear that you’ve had good luck with the H50BMG.

Running a 35º improved version using RL33 behind a Berger 245. The speed is there for sure but the accuracy is hit and miss. Not seeing great vertical dispersion at range and the groups are mediocre. Has anyone ever tried H50BMG in one of these improved Normas? Any advice on a starting load...

Barrel was a little fouled, that RL33 is dirrrrrty compared to some other powders I’ve used (H1000, H4831, etc). Would it be possible for a carbon ring to build up that quickly?
