What does it mean when when a barrel is throated for high bc bullets? Does this mean that there is free bore before the rifling starts?

I had the same problem with hornady American whitetail ammo in 308

Shot my new Savage .17 WSM Target model today for the first time. I am very impressed. It will shoot 1" or less @ 100 yds. I'm glade I bought it!

It must touch the barrel because when I slide a dollar bill down the barrel it stops where the bedding starts. It is also a wood stock.

Just look up Nosler load data and it will show you a lot of choices.

I shoot 168 Berger hybrids with 57.0 IMR 4350 or 57.5 H4350. This combined with a Hart barrel gives me .5 MOA

I haven't been able to find the Hornady 200 ELD-X but I was looking at Nosler's load data and found that it's possible to get 2700 with the 200 gr. This is a max load with RL-22. Their data shows that the most accurate load is an avg. of 2500 fps. I shoot a 06 with a 26" Hart barrel 57.5...

If I purchase a rifle in a Weatherby Mag. caliber but it made by another company say, "H-S Precision" would it have the same amount of freebore as the Weatherby made rifle?

I have a Hart 26" barrel. I use 57.5 of H4350, Berger 168 Hybrids, Norma brass, Federal primers. Just touching the lands, it shoots 2905 vel. No pressure signs and 1" groups @ 200 yds.

I worked up a accurate load using CCI but now I can't get them. I just wondered if anybody had better accuracy with Federal or Winchester without me buying 1000 primers at a time and not liking them.

My local gun shop finally got large rifle primers. Federal 210 and Winchester. Which one should I buy? Reloading for my 30-06, H4350 and 168 gr berger bullets.
