    Help me understand a flyer

A single shot ladder test can really lead you down the wrong road in a hurry. IMO it might help a lot if you do your initial load spread with groups of 5 or 6 shots and spacing of around 0.5grs (I've tried groups of 3 and 4 and been bitten too many times thinking I was onto a good load only to...

    Which bullet for tikka t3

I have had good luck with 200gr Accubonds loaded to magazine length. ~.75MOA. Also experimenting now with 155gr SMKs. They also come in right under 1MOA. Those were loaded to magazine length as well. Used H1000 for the 200gr loads and H4350 for the 155s.

    Newby...going all in...missing anything?

Might want to consider getting a neck sizing die. Lee makes a great one as does Redding. Some people swear by one or the other, kind of like the chevy/ford thing. It will likely help your accuracy slightly and will definately increase the life of your brass. I wish I would have gone with a...

    155gr Sierra Palma in 300WM?

Update: Got back from the range today. I had loaded up 8 batches of 4 shots each jumping .4grs between loads. 3 of the 7 groups were less than an inch. I'm pretty happy with that for an initial pass. With any luck I'll be able to get a final load that is in the .75moa range. Good enough for me...

    155gr Sierra Palma in 300WM?

Anyone tried this combo yet? I'm using Winchester nickel plated brass (once fired and neck sized...I have a ton of this stuff on hand...would have preferred to use standard brass...but free is free!), H4350, and WLRM primers. The rifle is a Tikka T3 and the magazine restricts the COL to right at...

    VLD stopping power VS Accubond/TSX

I have had very good accuracy with 200gr Accubonds in my 300WM....about .75moa for 9shots (6 at 200 and 3 at 300yds). They perform very well. Even hit a coyote at 220yds and was amazed that they didn't just punch right though...the accubond actually expanded pretty rapidly and dumped a ton of...
