    Would you eat this bull?

Doubt it. Pigeon fever is a disease of horses, also known as dryland distemper or equine distemper, caused by the Gram-positive bacteria Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis biovar equi. Infected horses commonly have swelling in the chest area, making it look similar to a 'pigeon chest'. This...

    Would you eat this bull?

As a Large Animal veterinarian, I suggest you just get rid of the meat and call it good.

Please help me age this deer

One ages deer by their teeth. Out west he's a dink. Maybe next year or two he'll be a 4pt. or an 8pt eastern count.

I suggest discarding the carcass. Keep the horns. I'm a retired DVM. See a DVM locally an he may ge able to get you a new tag. due to your infected carcass.

    Exercise for arthritic knees?

The Grey wolf has no genes for black fur. Sometime in the distant past the grey crossed with a domestic black dog and the...

    Exercise for arthritic knees?

KJW: I'm 87 and have had the right knee replaced. The left growls sometimes, but the trick I use is KEEP Moving and do stretching exercises. I'm a retired horse doc and I find that long slow distance workouts for the equine and human work well. Go easy on the weights. More reps with light...

BELOVED YELLOWSTONE WOLF'S KILLING BY TROPHY HUNTER

The "Real Gunsmith video" nails it. At this time the problem with wolves is way beyond Wyoming. Oregon has the problem as does Northern CA. The critters are all the way down to Mt. Lassen. I'm 87 and have watched this disaster unfold over recent years. It applies not only to wolves, but to Felis...

    Eradicate the Wolf???!

I'm a hunter also. Have been for over 70 years. That said, I'd like to post another facet to the wolf story. Part of my family is in the cattle business located just south of the Oregon border. OR has it's problems with the wolf and I doubt they'll go away. Lupus has been in CA for several years...

    Exercise for arthritic knees?

Scrmbir 1982 posted in May of 2015 and states it right. I'm 87 in a month and am still getting around pretty well, all be it slower. One day at time and remember Long Slow Distance really works. I don't take any supplements. Have pain, but deal with it.
